Open Each Folder In New Window In Windows Explorer

web browsers it is easy for you to right click and choose the option to open in a new window or open in a new tab. But in windows explorer it need you to make certain settings to open each folder in its own window. The default setting is to open each folder in same window.

 In web browsers it is easy for you to right click and choose the option to open in a new window or open in a new tab. But in windows explorer it need you to make certain settings to open each folder in its own window. The default setting is open each folder in same window.

By a small adjustment you can change this default setting.

In windows XP ,

Go to start menu and click on My Computer or My documents or open windows explorer any way.

Go to menu Tools and choose Folder Options

Select General Tab and go to section Browse Folders

Swith to option Open each folder in its own  Window 

In Windows 7

Go to start menu and click on Computer or Documents or open explorer window any way.

 Find the Organize drop down list (top left corner) and click Folder and Search options from the dropped list

Choose General Tab in Folder options window

Go to section Browse Folders

Swith to option Open each folder in its own  Window
